Raised visual status light allows caregivers to see alarm from a distance; choose from multiple available alarm tones and adjust the volume as needed. Notification alerts caregiver if connection between the sensor pad and the exit-alarm monitor becomes disconnected. Unit runs on three AA batteries (not included) or AC-05 AC adapter; low-battery notification light flashes to alert caregivers of the need to change batteries. Connects to a pressure-sensing pad placed in a bed, activating the alarm when pressure is not detected
