GA gel is indicated for use in the dietary management of Glutaric Aciduria Type 1 (GA1) from 1 year of age. GA gel has a blend of essential and nonessential amino acids, carbohydrate, vitamins and minerals. Neutral taste and gel consistency allows GA gel to be mixed with a small amount of fluid to be taken as a spoon feed or in a drink. Each 24-gram packet contains: 81 calories; 10 grams of protein equivalent; 10.3 grams of carbohydrate; 6.5 grams of sugars and no fat. There are 30 24-gram packets of powdered protein substitute in a box.
