3M Coban Self Adherent Wrap functions like a tape, but sticks only to itself. It is a laminate of non-woven material and elastic fibers placed lengthwise to provide elasticity. The elastic wrap contains a cohesive material that makes it stick to itself but not to other materials or skin. Available in sterile and non-sterile styles and in a variety of widths and colors. 3M Coban Self Adherent Wrap is lightweight breathable and moisture resistant. Isolating unprepped extremity areas to help maintain the sterile field. Comfortable for patients. Protects primary dressings. Fast and easy application, no clips or pins required. Wrap will not slip so no need for frequent readjustment. Easily adjustable and conformable to body contours. Does not stick to skin, hair, clothing or surgical drapes.
