- Glutasolve glutamine powder mixes easily with foods such as yogurt, applesauce or pudding: Each serving contains 15 grams of L-glutamine. Cells of the digestive tract which have experienced injury, surgery or disease need supplemental nutrition. L-glutamine is an amino acid important for the growth of cells of the GI mucosa and cells of the immune system such as lymphocytes. Glutasolve is designed for conditions which sometimes occur with chemotherapy and radiation, inflammatory bowel disease, HIV/AIDS patients on HAART (Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy) and infectious enteritis. Glutasolve can also be administered through tube feeding. One case contains 56 22.5-gram packets of glutamine powder.
