Description

Cutimed Sorbion Sorbact combines the active ingredient-free bacterial-binding effect of Cutimed Sorbact with outstanding exudate management. With Cutimed Sorbion Sorbact infections are controlled in a particularly safe and efficient manner. It binds germs according to the principle of hydrophobic interaction and comes without the release of chemical substances. With each change of dressing, the germ count in the wound is reduced, which creates optimal conditions for the healing process. The integrated superabsorbent dressing creates a moist wound environment, absorbs wound exudates and safely closes it into the product. In this way, the risk of macerations can be reduced and the healing process optimally supported. Due to the high exudate absorption capacity and the high retention capacity, less dressing changes are necessary, so that a curative wound rest can be offered and the treatment effort can be reduced. It consists of an acetate fabric coated with dialkylcarbamoyl chloride and has a superabsorbent core and a white water-repellent coating which prevents the exudation of exudate.Super-absorbent core with gelling effect to retain very high levels of exudate.
