Description

Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B Wound dressing fights infections without the use of antibiotics. Instead of using chemically active agents, it employs a surprisingly simple physical principle to effectively bind and inactivate pathogenic bacteria and fungi. With every dressing change, the reduced bacterial load helps to create optimum conditions for the natural wound healing process.Semipermeable polyurethane film. Highly absorbent hydropolymer matrix. Bacteria-binding Sorbact® acetate mesh. Poly-sulfonate hydrogel adhesive. Transparent release liner. Absorbs and locks wound exudate in the hydropolymer gel core. Fluid management for up to four days: Highly absorbent, skin-friendly adhesive border. Helps fight and prevent infection without chemical agents. Improved patient quality of life: Cushions and conforms to wound bed for comfortable wear, helps reduce exudate and odor, atraumatic, painless dressing application and removal. Indications: Chronic wounds, e.g. arterial, venous or diabetic and pressure ulcers, postoperative dehisced wounds, traumatic wounds. Suitable for use in combination with low pressure compression therapy. Absorbent hydrogel core combined with Sorbact® technology for low to moderately exuding wounds, reliable skin-friendly adhesive border. Latex-free.
