Non-staining, Non-irritating, Latex-free. Algidex Ag Silver Alginate Wound Dressing provides immediate and sustained antimicrobial activity against a broad spectrum of wound pathogens for up to seven days. Unique combination of silver, alginate and maltodextrin. No activation required. Inhibits bacterial cell division which eliminates the development of resistance. Designed to create an optimal, moist environment vital in the promotion of wound healing. Excellent exudate management helping to reduce the risk of periwound maceration. Integrated foam backing for increased absorption and comfort. Longer wear-time for fewer dressing changes results in cost savings. Easy application and removal and will not adhere to wound upon removal.
