Halyard Purple Nitrile Exam Gloves were designed as an alternative for those who may have a Type 1 hypersensitivity to natural rubber latex proteins. Designed to protect clinicians from bacteria, viruses, and chemicals during procedures where the risk of fluid exposure is moderate to high. The unique color purple provides quick, visual differentiation from those of other materials. The custom design enhances comfort and fit, and textured fingertips improve wet and dry grip. Gloves have been tested for use with chemotherapy drugs and gluteraldehyde to determine permeation and breakthrough times. Gloves provide the primary shield required to prevent contact with infectious substances, including blood borne pathogens, and reduce the risk of cross-contamination. Non-hypoallergenic.
