Description
MediPlus-Comfort foam border Ag island dressing, 6 x 6, 4 x 4 pad size, sterile. The MediPlus Comfort Foam Border Ag is an island dressing on a polyurethane adhesive border to allow fixation without secondary dressing or fixation tape. Polyurethane foam provides a cushioning effect and high absorption capacity up to 20 g/g. The polyurethane film outermost layer is highly breathable, up to 5000 g/m2/24hr MVTR. It is also bacteria proof and waterproof. The perforated polyurethane film in MediPlus Comfort Foam prevents adherence of the foam pad to the wound bed, allowing for removal with reduced pain and trauma. It acts as a filter for thick exudates and slough which are more likely to block the foam surface and hinder its absorption capacity.
