Description

Molnlycke Hibiclens is an antiseptic antimicrobial skin cleanser possessing bactericidal activities. It has antiseptic activity and a persistent antimicrobial effect with rapid bactericidal activity against a wide range of microorganisms, including gram-positive bacteria and gramnegative bacteria. It is indicated for use as a surgical scrub for patients pre-operative skin preparation, a healthcare personnel hand wash and as a skin wound and general cleanser. Molnlycke Hibiclens has non-flammable formula. Efficacy is not compromised by contact with organic matter like blood. Bonds to skin to sustain its antimicrobial activity for up to 6 hours. Effectiveness increases with use, due to a cumulative effect. Less-irritating than other antiseptics.
