Omniod 5 G6/G7 Intro Kit. This box contains 1 PDM (PDM - containing a Li-Ion battery-Model# NUBN5004) and 10 Pods. This is used to start a person on the Omnipod 5 G6/G7. For the system to operate, the person will additionally need a Dexcom G6/G7 CGM. The Omnipod 5® Intro Kit is an all-in-one starter pack that includes everything you need to get started in 1 box, including the PDM and 10 Pods. Background: The Omnipod® 5 System is the first tubeless automated insulin delivery system integrated with Dexcom G6/G7® CGM to manage blood sugar with no multiple daily injections, zero fingersticks and fully controlled by a compatible personal smartphone. Omnipod 5 consists of the tubeless and waterproof Pod, the Omnipod 5 app loaded on a PDM and Dexcom G6/G7 CGM. The Pod is enhanced with OnTarget technology to continuously adjust insulin to a customizable glucose target to improve glucose control and simplify life with diabetes.
