Highly absorbent. Can be cut to shape. Primary dressing. Maintains moist environment. Use on deep/shallow wounds. Broad spectrum antimicrobial. Gel formation upon contact with exudate. For Use on moderate to heavily draining wounds. Indications for use: Pressure ulcers, traumatic wounds, post operative surgical wounds, leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, graft sites, donor sites. Contraindications: It is contraindicated for use on third degree burns, as an internal wound dressing or sponge, for patients with known sensitivity to alginates or silver.
