Description

Highly absorbent. Excellent fluid handling capacity. Easy dressing change. Helps to maintain moist wound environment. Gel formation upon contact with wound drainage. Can be used on deep/shallow wounds. Used as primary dressing. For use on moderate to heavy draining wounds. Indications for use: Pressure ulcers, partial thickness wounds, full thickness wounds, leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, donor sites, lacerations and abrasions, first and second degree burns. Contraindications: It is contraindicated for use on third degree burns, as an internal wound dressing or sponge, for patients with known sensitivity to alginates.
